Thanks for the Gift of Life!!

Creations of the heart are blooming like flowers in the field.

The wonders of nature are entwined everywhere.

My spirit overflows. Footprints of the piper are sealed

In the pristine dunes while the echo of the wind

Unfolds whispering melodies.

Dreamland begins to roam freely...

Hear me coming as I go.

I am the wind, the trip into the mist, the sea...

Hear the echo of voices, the heartbeats of waves crushing

On the sand, as I leave my footprints on the land.

Hear the roaring thunder, for my crying is just a reminder.

Please, let the world be and set them all free!!

"Story of the Fire in our Place."

"Story of the Fire in our Place."
We live in a tower apartment building on the top floor overviewing the city lights.
The other week, I was composing a new poem in the computer room next to our dear furry friends, the cats. I had the PC screen, the speakers turned on and tuned to one of my favourite Radio Stations with Gospel music. Everything seemed peacefully until I smelt something burning.
I rushed to the living room and noticed a heavy cloud engulfing all corners. Then, I dashed off to the kitchen and shuddered in panic when I saw the dazzle of fire coming out of the electrical power source on the wall. I managed to open all windows, doors and called out for help.
I said, "Fire!! Help, please!!"
Some good neighbors came out from their dwellings and helped us out. They called the Superintendant of the building, the Police and Fire Department. Some of them arrived all at once extinguishing the savage fire. They asked me questions about the event, and thanked me for being a good neighbor and a brave woman to have stayed with my animals at all times protecting them. They said that some folks would have only cared for themselves and left out the place on fire trying to save their personal lives. I said, "It would be selfish not to help your loved ones or others in need. If you love somebody, you should care for your beloved ones. I will never leave my loved ones behind. That is for sure."
Thanks God nothing bad happened to us, and we continued with our daily lives in peace.
Praise the Lord!!
Thank you for reading!!
STARRY.

"Dreaming of good old Tennessee."

"Dreaming of good old Tennessee." (Poetic Lyrics)

I ask the Lord to grant me
What I have never had,
To meet all my daily needs,
Strength, Health, Joy,
Peace and true Happiness.

In time, I have found all the answers
To my prayers and much more than
What I have asked for.
Oh!! My good Lord!!...
My dreams came true for me,
In the form of living in good old Tennessee.

Dreaming of living in good old Tennessee,
I could see the flocks of songbirds, creeks,
Hills, valleys, mountains and green lands.
I could hear the Country Music singing on my mind,
While I am walking in dreams in good open farms.

The nectar from the blossoms
Grows in all flowers that you´ve sent.
I like nice sunny days,
The gloomy days drag me down,
But You Lord, always uplift my heart then,
When I am down.

Refrain:
Picture youself living in a cozy wooden cabin
In a pristine valley with rolling hills all around.
Yes!! That is my good old Tennessee.
Thank You, Lord!! My good sweet Lord!!
I can now- count all the many blessings,
You´ve granted the dreams for me,
And the showers of shining love
To live in good old Tennessee.

Let me tell you, folks about my best friend Who told me
Old stories about country music and horses in the field.
We watched his old western movies;
He gave me shelter and took care of me.

We spoke about Elvis and our favourite stars.
I can´t go on without saying
My best friend is now dwelling in Eternity afar.
I know he´s watching me when I tell you
Stories of good old Tennessee.

A warm log cabin with a blazy fireplace
In the Great Smoky Mountains,
In the pristine forest with deers and bears all around,
I see myself dreaming of -into my old blues and tunes,
Melodies and the blending of all nature´s sounds.
Sing Refrain again.
