Thanks for the Gift of Life!!

Creations of the heart are blooming like flowers in the field.

The wonders of nature are entwined everywhere.

My spirit overflows. Footprints of the piper are sealed

In the pristine dunes while the echo of the wind

Unfolds whispering melodies.

Dreamland begins to roam freely...

Hear me coming as I go.

I am the wind, the trip into the mist, the sea...

Hear the echo of voices, the heartbeats of waves crushing

On the sand, as I leave my footprints on the land.

Hear the roaring thunder, for my crying is just a reminder.

Please, let the world be and set them all free!!

"THE LAST HUG."

"THE LAST HUG."

Why do you cry crocodile??
It wouldn´t say a word nor a lie.
Our leader went to the sea.
The water was rough, not calm,
Although he insisted to swim.
His friendly crew watched him from the boat...
Why do you cry crocodile??
It wouldn´t say a word nor a lie.
I miss his touch...
Our leader dived into the sea.
The tempest arose its madness
As he gave his last hug and die.
There is a flood of tears,
Because Steve is no more near.
He would give no more hugs,
The crocodile says, as it cries and cries.
All the other animals heard, and cried aloud:
What has happened to Steve??...
They all say together as a crowd...
Why couldn´t he let it be and live!!
There is a flood in the whole world:
Oceans, rivers, ponds and lakes.
All crocodiles and other animals cry, cry and say,
As they flood all waters from their tears.
We can´t help crying. We miss his touch,
Because Steve is no more near.
He would give us no more hugs or love.
The crocodiles say, as they cry and cry.

"Amazing Pictures." (Part 2)

"Amazing Pictures." (Part 2)

Photographing as a process of clarifying this kind of quality, the photographer works towards creating formalized liminal spaces.

His photographs play with time and scale. His imagery suggests a formalized landscape where perspective scale and time momentarily become intangible. The viewer sees repeated dualities of stillness and movement, intense detail with blank atmospheric abstraction, man made objects found in ocean horizons, black and white images printed on colored paper, all reduced to present a sublime experience to the viewer.

The glory lies not in this act of clarification or reduction, but in the experience of what is left -sublime experience located in ordinary space: a slowly moving sky, the sun moving across a boulders surface or sea foam swirling around a pylon.

Exposed onto large-format black and white film under the light of dusk and dawn, the shutter is held open for several minutes, recording the ocean and sky as it continuously repositions itself on the negative, a process both dependent upon and vulnerable to chance.

The resultant image is an accretion of past and present. Each moment is layered over the moment immediately preceding it, a single image that embodies the weight of cumulative time and unending metamorphosis.

"Amazing Pictures."

"Amazing Pictures..."

The shorelines exhibited by the photographer´s works of art are amazing. He presents his abiding interest in the thresholds that divide and connect the sea to the land. He is fascinated with the quality of light and the spacial immensity of the ocean.

We all have enormous reverence for feeling so small in the presence of something so vast, where perspective, scale, time and distance momentarily become intangible...

"MISSING CHILDREN."

"MISSING CHILDREN."
I have seen their faces on public places all over the USA. It hurts me so badly to know that these children have been hurt in such horrendous and dreadful ways. Some of these children have been found alive. Others were not so lucky. I´ll never understand the heart of a killer...
I pray that God may interven in order to find justice for all.
Praying for Justice,
Starry Dawn.
